Dear Chas & Fran,

I just called Mrs. Marsh tonite to see how she was. I hadn't talked to her in some time [[strikethrough]] In every [[\strikethrough]] due to the fact that I have been so gosh awful busy - She said you guys wondered why you hadn't heard from me.-Been traveling quite a bit-in & out of town lectures and speeches- Just think, people pay me to say the same things I have been saying for the past 30 years. Well-the times finally caught up with me. DuSable Museum- Building plans, fund raising, etc. etc. Well- that's why you haven't heard from me. 6/14 went to Louisville - main guest at Bicentennial -  the theme was my poem, "What Shall I Tell
