Ben

It was a pleasure. Isabelle now believes you exist, which is something I've been promising her for a year. As a matter of fact you made a hit. I'm not sure I promised that.

Friday is Dec 1st, I forgot; it is the day I remove my car from its expensive city garage and put it up in the country for the winter. So we'll be making our last trip Saturday morning up to Old Lyme - perforce, and will have to postpone the Englistown [[Englishtown]] junket. But may we not visit you & B. later anyway? Without driving, I'm afraid. Do you ever get guests at the Princeton station, or is there a taxi? within reason?

Come in here, to dinner or anything, anytime. We will wine you two although haven't room to put you up. Please do. Postcards! Old Shahn memorabilia!! Bingo!!! Cultural question period!!!!
