Dear Mr. Dykstra:

Thank you for the citation as you sent it to me. I would have written you sooner but I received your letter only an hour befor [[before]] I took the the train coming out here.

My sister living in Portage Wisconsin says of your governor that he is a fine governor if he only wouldn't make speeches. His reference to me was entirely wrong. I was looking for my Aunt who is small and very old. She lives about two blocks from where we were and I intended going to her house till time to go to yours.
