Dear Judge Johnson:

We are planning to start work on the Convention minutes. Miss Pomeroy will cut the stencils at home, and we will run them off on the mimeograph here in the office. In that way we will try to keep the cost at a minimum. However, we will need funds to work with. Will you send me a check for $100.00 to use for this purpose? Out of it we will buy stencils, ink, paper and other necessary supplies, and use any balance for postage, etc.

I have no idea what the cost will be, but this is about what other years have cost. We don't intend to make verbatim reports of discussions, speeches, etc., this time, in our effort to cut down costs and time. But we do plan to print in full your speech at the Banquet, D'Arcy's and Mrs. Roe Cloud's. And, of course, we will print in full all resolutions and action thereon. We will mimeograph 300 copies.

We may have to ask you later for more than the $100.00 advance. Or we may have some left over. If any is left over, we will either return it to you or account for its use, in some other necessary N.C.A.I. business. Please send the money as promptly as possible.

Sincerely yours,

RUTH M. BRONSON
Executive Director
