I have the honor to request information concerning the Claim for Bonty of Major Cole late Private Co. F. 37th Regt U.S.C.T.

Cole states that he gave in his papers at Raleigh N.C. to Capt Lee, Claim agent, who, several months ago, informed him that he would get his money and send it to him at New Bern N.C. in the course of ten days. He has not received his bounty, nor any information concerning it as yet.
