a conversation, which is in itself, perhaps trivial, is to give you the true version of what may be misrepresented by Mr Whaley, and might otherwise remain unexplained.-
 
I am now in receipt of an acknowledgement from Mr. Whaley of the notice sent him this morning.  He promises that a person shall be nominated to-morrow.
