Encloses copy of a communication from Sup't at LaGrange, Tenn. Fears the Mississippi Militia will drive the Freedmen to deeds of violence. Asks if the President is fully advised of the character of the militia. That he shall direct his sub-ordinates on the border to be governed by Telegram of Nov. 30, addressed to Col Thomas.
