Respectfully returned with the information, that at the time I received my Orders assigning me to duty in this State I was in Philadelphia, Pa. and had, the within amount in my hands, that as soon as possible, I forwarded the same to the owner by mail through the Comdg Officer of the 1st Ind. Co V.R.C. at Washington D.C.
 
If upon return of this Paper to Washington the money has not been received, since the within letter was written, I will forward the same through the Bureau of R.F. and A.L.
