States that he has a friend in Va. who desires to know if there is an asylum to which he can send an old blind colored woman who he is unable to provide for. Also a friend in Missouri desires copies of orders under which Genl. Thomas acted in the spring of 65 when he went down the Mississippi and leased abandoned lands.
