My stock shall not be surpassed, in either QUALITY or VARIETY, by any house in North Louisiana; and I intend to sell at as low pri- ces as the trade will permit. No house in the market shall under- sell me, with similar quality of goods. Its lo- cality is sufficiently retired, and yet close enough to the business part of town. It is altogether the finest residence in Minden--two stories high, with pillar front, and all the rooms well finished--and all necessary out-buildings in good condition. Minden is one of the most healthy locations in the State, has good society, and excellent Church and School facilities. The Female School is as good as any in the State.
