In reply to communication of January 25th 1866 from War Department Bureau of Ref. F and A Lands, requesting to know the number of Officers of the Veteran Reserve Corps required to replace officers of the Volunteer organizations who will be mustered out, in addition to those already assigned to this District, I have the honor to state that of the twenty-four (24) Officers ordered here twenty (20) have already reported for duty.
