Regt Vet. Res Corps) is on leave of absence granted from Head Quarters of the Bureau.

Another (Captain F. Johnson 2nd Regt. Vet. Res. Corps) has sent to these Head-Quarters a certificate of disability, stating that he would not be able to perform duty in a less period than twenty (20) days.

Of the other two nothing has been heard. I would respectfully state, that in order to effectually carry on the business pertaining to this Bureau throughout the State, an additional detail of twenty-five (25) or thirty (30) Officers would be required, to replace officers who will soon be mustered out, and to fill places already vacant and needing an Agent.

Very Respectfully
Your Obt Servant
