This report of Major T.S. Free, Inspector of the Bureau in this State gives an inside view of Freedmens Affairs as gathered by an officer traveling the State - It will be seen, that he told the negro to contract for the coming year - that no lands would be divided among them - that insurrection would lead to their destruction - and in every way possible combatted the notion that the Southern people are trying to make out as prevalent among Freedmen.
