and Master of Arts Degrees in Art. He was also the director of the Galeria in Santa Ana. His figurative sculptures reflect his intention of presenting the human form aesthetically. Richard enjoyes the challenges inherent in sculpturing. He feels that one of the most rewarding aspects of his profession is to meet those challenges and emerge with an aesthetically successful experience.

DENNIS AGUINAGA
Dennis Aguinaga has exhibited his art work throughout Orange and Los Angeles Counties in various community art exhibitions and competitions. His work is influenced by both surrealism and the desire to express social commentary in a humorous and satirical manner. His primary means of expression are prisma color and graphite pencil.

JAVIER ALVAREZ
Javier Alvarez was born in Mexico. He earned an associate of Arts Degree at Cypress College, a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree and a Master of Arts Degree at California State University at Long Beach. He is currently pursuing his master of Fine arts Degree at Long Beach. He has shown at the Cow Palace in San Francisco and throughout the southland in local, regional and international shows. Javier has also taught painting at an Orange County Gallery for several years and executes custom portraits on commission. In addition, his work has been published in Chryslis Annual Art Magazine at Cypress College.

PAUL APODACA

Paul Apodoca is an artist of both navajo and mexican background. As artist in residence at the Bowers Museum in Santa Ana, California, Paul has helped to create displays and programming especially related to North American Indian Cultures. As executive producer of the "Native American" television series Paul is constantly working in new areas of technology and in preserving the original cultures of these continents.  
Chosen as the Orange County Press Club's Headliner of the year for 82-83 in the area of fine arts, Paul shares this honor with such past honorees as Walt Disney.  Reknowed [[Renowned]] as a lecturer and honored as an artist of native american disciplines, Paul is currently working with curators and art historians from the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History in Santa Barbara and the Bowers Museum in creating a fall show entitled the "Archaeo-Astronomy of Southern California Indians".
