Harris Road
Bedford Hills, N.Y.

Dear Mrs. Abel,

You will be interested to know that the Committee to Preserve American Art is giving all applicants for your father's sculpture an opportunity to make oral presentations on November 7 at the Architectural League, 2:30 PM.

This will give the committee a chance to ask questions and obtain explanations and they also have asked applicants to submit installation designs, or sketches, by November 1.

The Chairman informs us that the committee will decide which in their opinion has the best plan for preserving the sculpture one week after the open hearings.

The press will be invited to this open meeting and there are accomodations for about 150 in this large room.

We are sure that you and other members of your family could attend if you so desire. It will be very interesting to see who represents the various applicants. Should the presidents of the universities come in person and if the mayor of Indianapolis brings a delegation, the oral presentations might prove to be highly interesting.

If anything new transpires in the meantime, we hope to inform you.

Very sincerely yours,
FRANK H. LOVETTE
