6. Ed's friend, Douglas, is very charming. A painter, working for a stained-glass firm. Hopes soon, never to see glass again. Not very easy to get at - shy. Ed wears well. Sorry about the glasses, but there isn't much to be done about it. They would never catch up with you. This is not much of a letter - nor yet an essay - more ease - than essay - .
