I'm thinking seriously of doing another litho. Might be a good idea. But I want to do a lot of painting too. And my experience with lithos is that it takes almost all your time. 

My painting goes badly - everything is askew all at once. I feel absolutely at loose ends & quite sunk. But I suppose there are highs ahead as well as these abysses. Intellectually I know this is true. I feel all off somewhere - like a balloon with no method of steering & a kind of strange gas escaping from the bag - sort of keeping me half under. - Well there is exaggeration for you. It wasn't quite as bad as that. But it is exceedingly hard to keep a clear mind, and to concentrate on something like a book is well nigh impossible. And I cannot seem to keep occupied in other fashions every minute. Oh well what is the use of talking about it - and worrying you. My health is O.K. - and how is mother - all over her troubles? Let me know!!
