In the Museum Modern Art The Alden Weir - Donkey Ride "nice - much blander than you would expect. Beautiful Ryders - & Inness - nice Fuller head. Alex. Brook good. The Bellows Anna Elinor & Jean looked splendid - But The Hills of dream - the Bellows landscape with children including & hills & sky looked positively crude to me - & I remembered it as being so beautiful. 

There is a Prendergast show of watercolors on at the Goodman Walker Galleries - corner of Boylston & Dartmouth  [[right margin]] N.Y 32 [[right margin]]

The Barrie novel is coming out November 11th

I can't think of anything more to say - though there is a lot going on. 

I saw a review Sunday on "The Savage Pilgrimage" a narrative of D.H. Laurence by Catherine Carswell - a friend of his - she casts doubts on Mabel Luhan's understanding of D.H.L. & the review looks as though the book might be interesting. But you can never tell - the Rosetti book had good reviews -- 

I was touched by Antoinette's (Kraushaar's) obvious pleasure at seeing us - She asked for you- She is quite shy, I think - and there is something about her that I like very much.
