Darling -

Started off at 7 a.m. & arrived here at 8:30. We stopped in 
Burgos for 4 hrs., and visited the best cathedral so far. 
The landscape all the way was unbelievable: desert, mountains, farms, and finally Swiss-Italian-French villages, more mts., & the sea. It's cool, and I'm terribly lonely for you & trying to drown it in whiskey at the moment. Expect to leave 6th. for Santillana & Altamira caves. Return Madrid by 8th. or 9th
