Clem dear - the show's good, but not good enough. The best, in general are smaller, sketchier; and portraits, with a few huge exceptions. (& you can have the Belgians, as teeps). Tracked down Memling & Van Eyck & Van der Weyden in Ghent & Brugges -- too much too fast but well worth it. How are you? Hope the summer goes well. Let me know if you hit NYC in August.
