Clem dear -
I gave another look here [[↑ to card description]] yesterday (3/4hr from Stamford).
I still think it's a mediocre collection; not enough really of quality (in Romney, etc.) Stubbs OK always, no ?, & Turner (2 of them; the small scale ones not those out-of-hand giant "oeuvres"!) got 3√√√. Also the tiny angelic [[consta--es?]]-- made me think of const. Nice Rubens sketch that didn't belong there anyway. Also took in Yale Museum. Let's do it together once. Yes, i still would like to do a brief return jaunt to N.S. Consider, please. Saw a good picture at Ken's last week. Landscape here is divine. Come & paint & be. See you soon.
Much love
Helen.
