As for O'Keeffe, she told me that you and she were working something together, and I'm sure you will eventually find some O'Keeffe which will satisfy you and give supreme pleasure to Mrs. Warner, and when you do decide upon an O'Keeffe it will undoubtedly encourage one of the very few truly creative artists in America, and I might say, in the world. Let me assure you I am not exaggerating her importance, nor that of Marin, and eventually you will fully realize that fact.

So as soon as I hear from you, and everything is in the clear, the Marin will be shipped to you. Would you want me to insure it for full value, or what?

With most cordial greetings to you and the Lady,

Alfred Stieglitz
