It is mutually agreed by the artist Ad Reinhardt and the Betty Parsons Gallery, as the dealer, that the dealer is entitled to 1/3 of the selling price on all sales of pictures or commercial assignments. * On any sales made by the artist in his studies to clients outside the gallery's clientele, the dealer will be entitled to a 15% commission.

The Betty Parsons Gallery will be responsible for the promotion of the artist and the artist is to have the use of the gallery free. The artist is responsible for all additional expenses; i.e., advertising, photographs, catalogues, etc.

In consideration of the above and in order to make this promotion possible, the Betty Parsons Gallery must be assured that the artist will be a member of the gallery until June 30th, 1949. The gallery will have full control of all the artist's work for possible sales and promotion until the above specified date.

The artist must have the written permission of the dealer before showing in any exhibitions outside the Betty Parsons Gallery.
