Dear Mr. Schoelkopf,

I was indeed sorry to learn of your indisposition but heartened, of course, to hear that it was not too serious.

The day of your visit proved a memorable one; and, as I told your secretary just now, a cache of things came to light (saleable); as well as unfoldment with some new work of my own in the vein of the railroad "mystique." Including an especially sunny one.

My mother will be so glad to know that the Exhibition is possible.

Please accept my heartiest thanks again, and heartiest desire too for a speedy and complete recovery.

Sincerely,
Joseph (Cornell)
