Purchase prize jurors are Charles C. Cunningham and Gordon M. Smith, Directors respectively of The Art Institute of Chicago and the Albright-Knox Gallery of Art, Buffalo. The exhibition of contemporary painting and sculpture is part of the celebration honoring the opening of our new $800,000 wing in November. We wish to invite you to honor us with a major example of your work. Works in the New York area will be selected during a two week period starting September 20. Hahn Bros. will pick up those chosen in mid October. The Flint Institute of Arts will handle all transportation and insurance costs of works by invited artists.
