Mr. Herbert B. Palmer
Herbert Palmer Gallery
515 North La Cienega Boulevard
Los Angeles, California 90048

Dear Herbert:

Unfortunately, the Cornell box - Chocolat Menier has been sold. The enclosed photograph is of a box (undated) which we now have in the gallery. It is 9" x 14" and 4" deep, and is titled (on back) Soap Bubble Set - Lunar. It has a clay pipe, broken sherry glass and a metal ring with a cork ball float on two metal runners. The rear wall has light and dark blue, yellow and lavender colors. The box is signed on the back. The retail price is $5000 and we can only allow a ten per-cent (10%) discount, but perhaps you can ask more for the box. This box would have to be sold from the photograph, since I am reluctant to ship it.

At last, we enclose a print of the small Luks oil on panel. This is 6 1/[[strikethrough]] 2 [[/strikethrough]] (4)" x 9" and was purchased from the artist's studio, but is not signed. The price is $1000. Again, we would only like to do a ten per-cent (10%) discount.

I would like to know more about the Rockwell Kent watercolors and drawings. Perhaps you could send some photographs?

Sincerely,

Robert Schoelkopf
