Mr. Edwin Janss, Jr.
Janss Corporation
Kirkeby Center
Wilshire and Westwood Boulevards
Los Angeles, California

Dear Mr. Janss:

I am pleased that you like the Mica Magritte that is currently beginning a tour with the Museum of Modern Art's "Art in the Mirror" show. I am sorry that it is committed to this exhibition, but I think we should be able to give you another collage on loan until the end of the tour.

Mr. Cornell has been away for the holidays, and we have been unable to ask him to agree to the loan of Where does the Sun go at Night to you for the period of the Museum of Modern Art's exhibition. I do think that he will agree to this, however. Hopefully, we shall be able to let you know in the next week or so.

Sincerely,

Robert Schoelkopf
