Mr. Robert Schoelkopf
Robert Schoelkopf Gallery
825 Madison Avenue
New York, New York 10021

Dear Mr. Schoelkopf:

As you have previously expressed interest in the works of the late Joseph Cornell held by his estate, I am pleased to let you know that for the first time since Mr. Cornell's death the executors under his Will are prepared to consider arrangements for the disposition of a selection of the Cornell boxes and collages owned by them.
The initial selection being offered consists of 50 boxes and 50 collages.

These works may be viewed at a warehouse in New York City by arrangement with our office. If you are interested in seeing them would you please call me or my associate, Platt Ketcham, to arrange a convenient time.

The estate will consider the disposition of the works either on an outright sale basis or on consignment for a limited term. Alternative proposals may be submitted - that is an offer to purchase the entire selection for a fixed price or an offer containing the terms on which the selection would be consigned. Such offers should be in writing and submitted to this office no later than March 3.

If an offer is to be made on a consignment basis, it should set forth as many of the proposed terms as possible
