Dear Allan:

Have known for a long time that you have had some Cornell constructions, but somehow or other I got the impression from Joseph that everything you had belonged in your private collection. Now that I know differently I think it is important that we maintain a similar price level. Cornell has gone up considerably in his prices since his work first came into the Gallery and I don't know if he has kept you informed on this. At any rate, would you be good enough to let me know what pieces you have that are for sale and the prices you are quoting so that at no time will there be any variance between us.

Hope you will be in New York before too long.

Best wishes,

Eleanor Ward
