Murch-Cornell Agreement.

Elizabeth Benton has taken the following two Murch paintings in exchange for a Cornell box which has been valued for the purpose of this agreement at $14,000:

a) Mail Scale - 12,000
b) Portrait of Joseph Cornell 3,000

Denis Hurley, as the agent for Mrs Benton has taken possession of the above two works for Mrs Benton. Mrs Benton will have two weeks to decide if she would like to keep the Mail Scale or to trade it for another Murch of equal value.

It is understood that Mrs Benton will pay the $1,000 difference in the value of the works to Betty Parson's gallery if she keeps 'Mail Scale'; said payment to be made at the end of the two week period.
