Re: Exchange of Cornell work for two paintings of Walter Murch

Dear Ms. Parsons:

To confirm our conversation of today, my letter to you of May 24th, 1976 was incorrect in that I referred to just one Murch painting rather than the two paintings that were exchanged for the Cornell box. The first painting had a value of $12,000 and the second painting, which was a Murch portrait of Joseph C. Cornell, had a value of $3,000. I am making this correction just so our "paper work" will accurately reflect our agreement.

Very truly yours,
