before I had to be off again & we rarely could dine before 8 in the evening  - I presume it was because I haven't counted in the time it takes to go to the printers, to go to your various classes, to get out your materials & lock them up again. But when I think what I have accomplished I feel rather happy over it - For I have quite mastered the technique of lythographie and best of all  I have learnt how to work.

I gave up Feldbauers class after about a month and worked with Mr. Britsch instead. He isn't an artist but a "Kunstwissenschafter" and teaches me to work out why one does certain things & how to observe - He has splendid models - mostly acrobats who really give private performances - & so one has to draw people standing on their hands - or on one - & try & get
