Dec 2 - 1914

Dearest Dodo——

I am just back from Washington tonight after a flying trip to ask Mr Bryan to speak for us at our big suffrage mass meeting—— I didn't get him, tho' I had an awfully nice call at his home, where Mr Post took me at 6.15 P.M. I had dinner with the Prt's afterwards. I found I could get Senator Borak — who is quite prominent as a possible Presidential candidate for 1916.

I am so glad to have your list —— Will surely order the nut cake at Maresi—— The place you mean on Clinton St. is the Mills-Platt Co. The days are getting very short before we leave for Florida. I shall have to plan every moment carefully to get thro'. I hope I shall be able to get up to see you - perhaps in February.

Edward will be in Pittsburg tomorrow — I suppose he left Chicago today. Hope he did not miss Raymond——

Hastily, but with much love.
Ethel.
