Dear Edward -

Well how fares the world with you, I am boring as these lines will show & am quite up to date.

Papa is quite well again does not go out however much, last night he went to Whist in N.Y. and wanted to go to the Stoers dinner tonight but gave that up - Mary is still in a sad condition not so sick but miserable enough to be around it is too bad and I hope she will feel better soon. I took one bicycle ride to the Park and thought it very nice, only-on our way back it was very windy that I had to walk off an on I shall however go some more and hope to be able to go quite a distance then -
