Mr. V. enjoyed beach hill and just revelled [[reveled]] in blue berries — Alice has been praying songs for mother and she has been singing now they have flown to the card table - Mary's films have come back and to my horror on one of the picture I am portrayed with my tongue stuck out to Lucy [[Lucy's]] delight, she said it served me right as I seem to be a great face maker.

Our pony goes very nicely does not run, but fast enough to take us

to places—  Miss Mitchel is here we have been painting together but have not done over well - she will leave Wednesday—  Mr. & Mrs Krüger are coming on the 17th - and Mrs Heidlauf is coming as soon as she can manage to get off—  Mary I suppose is enjoying the moon at camp and will be back soon—  Lady Lucy is so delighted that you are not here while she is honoring our doorstep with her tread and her beam is so great that
