Dear Edward——

Well here an age has past since I have taken up my pen to scrawl to you.

I am glad the Xms [[Xmas]] tree turned out well, have taken Miss Haden today and Anita who dined 


here, we always miss each other when we call formally.  It snowed but quickly enough turned into rain, as it cleared this afternoon we took a walk.  First at Barnard C—  had tea  G— honored us with an invitation   To night we are going to listen to some reading at Mrs T
