Miss Dorothea A. Dreier,

My Dear Dorothea:-

The other day I obtained from the Uvalde Asphalt Company another liquidating dividend on your $1000.00 bonds, amounting to 25%, equal to $250.00, which I deposited for you in the Long Island Loan & Trust Co.

I hope all the changes of address which I sent out for you have been correct, and that your dividends are being mailed to the Trust Company accordingly.

As I wrote you in my yesterday's letter, Carl Vietor was married recently, and I sent them a present in the name of the family, as I presumed you would of course wish to join in this with the rest of the Vietor family. The present was sent with your name and consisted of four very fine silver candlesticks, which cost $112.00. Your share of this, or one-fifth, would be $22.40, and if you are agreeable to this, kindly send me your check for this amount, namely, $22.40.

We are now having fine winter weather which feels good. Yesterday morning it was 18°F & today about 30°.

I wrote Tante Meta a few lines yesterday also.

Your bro.,
Edw.
