Dorothea A. DREIER,
C/o Hope & Company,
Amsterdam, Holland.

My Dear Dorothea:-

On June 10th the second payment of 20% of Great Northern is due, which I think in your case amounts to $400.00. Please send me a check to their order for that amount.

I have to-day paid the Real Estate and Water Tax for 6 Montague Terrance, as follows:-

Real Estate Tax- $796.64
Water Tax - 33.60 $ 830.24
                  ————————

Of which your share is one-third, amounting to $ 276.75, for which please send me your check.

I do not know when the D. L. & W. will call for their next payment, which in your case, you will remember, amounts to $925.00. In case I find it necessary, I will cable you the word “check”, which you will understand to mean that I want you to mail me your check for the D. L. & W., for $925.00.

The Pennsylvania R. R. Has gotten out some rights, and I will probably send you some papers to sign for these shortly.

My horse “Gus Helm” won a splendid race last Sat. The 26th & I got a fine silver plate.

In haste,

your bro.,

Edw.
