My dear Dodo,

Encl'd is bill on card from the Academy of Music in B'klyn. for your opera seats. I wrote them you would send check but that it could not get to them by Oct. 1st.

It is quite some time now since I have heard from you & I hope you are well. Mary had a letter from you Saturday, I remember now. She & Gretchen were with us over Sunday & altho' the weather was poor with a lot of rain we had a happy time together. Raymond was West & could not get there. Kate was at her own place.

When do you expect to come back. You might let me know if you can tell as yet, as sooner or later you should dispose of your fraction Standard Oil Subsideries & if you will be back before long, it will be easier to do it then. These fractions are gradually getting fewer & fewer & if one waits too long it may be hard to dispose of them.

With love,
Your bro., Edw.
