Dear Dodo,

There has been made a ruling in regard to the Income Tax that if your taxible income is under $3000- per year or $2500.- for the period from Mch 1st to Dec. 31/13, & comes within the 1% normal tax that is not over $20,000.- from dividends from Am. Cos. it will be unnecessary to file your statement.

You will, however, of course have to make it up so that you are sure it comes within these limits in which case you will keep it as a memo for reference should a question ever arise.

To-day it is pretty cold again & I suppose very cold up your way.

Must close now as I am going out to lunch with Seth Thomas.

Your bro.,
Edw.
