Dear Dodo,

Your registered letter with W.U. warrant & check reached me yesterday & this morning I rec'd your nice long letter of the 10th. It will be next week before I get paid for the W.U.

If the Stickney's want your cottages again make your rent a net sum to you as they are & if they want any changes they can make them.

I forwarded your letter to Harry Masle this morning. Kate was with us yesterday to dinner & expect to be with you in a day or so. Mary is continuing to improve. Otherwise there is nothing much to write about. I heard from Fred Pauli the other day. In connection with the dispute in the papers over Admiral Dewey's book he wrote that the presents the two Admirals sent each other at that time was a leg of mutton, denonating mutton head & a Schaps Kaile denoting Schafs Kopf, a pretty pleasantry!

Your bro.,
Edw.
