Dear Dodo,

Your letter of the 17th St. Patricks Day, encl'g check rec'd this morning for which I am much obliged.

Encl'd is statement from H.T. Carey & Co. for the sale of the W.U. Tuley rights, amounting to $8.13. I have deposited the check for you in the B'klyn Trust Co.

Mary left Monday in order to get her things ready to go to Florida with Gretchen & the latter arrived this morning from Washington in time to breakfast with us. There was grand excitement & a hullabaloo when she came in.

Last night we dined at the Wätzens & went to the last dance of the dancing class. Dottie was sick with the grip & could not even come down to dinner. There were not too many there & we had a good time. Two Mrs Strasbergs were there Mrs. Ewing (Dottie's youngest sister) who took her place & one of the Pagenstechers'.

I am deeeelighted to hear the Dr. say you are continuing to improve which is fine. Keep up the good work. I had a letter from Tante Meta who wrote that a distant cousin, a Spitta, I believe, is coming over. As far as I can make out he is an officer on a Hamburg Am. Steamer.
