Dear Dodo,

This booklet was found in the safe & I am sending it on as you may be interested in reading about the cutoff which the D.L. & W. built & called the Lackawanna R.R. of N.J. This is the stock of which you have 17 shares, about which I wrote you last week.

The beautiful weather is continuing, yesterday I took the two older children in the motor to Ft. Salonga. I was lovely there. Theo nailed up a bird house that he had build in school last winter.

As he is still not allowed to go to school I took him to the [?] this morning & started him at work in the shipping room for half a day. He looked too sweet standing there at work with his coat & collar off & an apron on. So far he liked it very much.

John is very much better & feeling fine. Yesterday he was dressed for the first time but he will not be out of quarantine for some days yet.

Transcription Notes:
Fort Salonga is a hamlet and census-designated place in Suffolk County, New York on the North Shore of Long Island. (Context note... I believe John has the measles, per earlier letters. Theo might have also had it, but getting better?)
