Ethel had a telep. this morning from whom but Alice Haworth & is going to meet her in N.Y. this afternoon. She is on her way to the Adirondacks.

Coming Saturday the Winters were going to the Piping Rock H. Show & spend Sunday with us & now we hear that he has to be out of town & they cannot come. This is very aggravating as we had gone to considerable trouble & expense to give them a good time. The Watzens were going also, & now the Wendts take the Winters' place. That will probably be our last Sunday in the country. It is beautiful out here now but we need rain badly.

Did I write you that young Mr. Brunyes had returned the money we had advanced them? I will pay you back as soon as my books are written up.

Last week I also finished up Elise's Estate by paying the final checks.

Goodbye for the present. Again, many thanks.
your bro.,
Edw.
