Monday with a fever going as high as 104° at times. So far we do not know what it is.

Last night Nettie intended to spend with us but was called home as some people were coming down to look at their house which they want to rent.

Tonight we dine at the Bush! on Monroe Pl. if Nanette is not too sick.

We intended to spend Sunday with the Watkins at Greenwich but had to give that up.

Hope you are fit as a fiddle.

With love,
your bro.,
Edw.

Onkel Adelbert writes that his youngest son Adelut who went on a Dr. was wounded in the knee & lost his leg. He was married just before going to the front & his wife is now nursing him at Morinz. I heard from two different sources that they (the country) are running short of food.
