Here we are in American waters, past the first light keep- & we expect to land tomorrow.
Very vague Marconis have reached us about big Zeppelin raids - for it [[?]] [[?]] told, on London, & on the South East Coast & [[?]] on London, I Marconied to Emily
& [[?]] [[?]] all right.


Tomorrow we will hear what news the papers will give as to what really happened - I hope asking at either London or Scarborough-

Very brief the news they secret on board ship for fear of rows between the German & the English passengers -  it appears that on the last voyage there were fierce fights, because the captain was more communicative-
It has been a very smooth crossing with no alarms of any kind-
