Sent a hurried line – I am catching a train for a couple of days outing.

Your cables came - one yesterday which I answered and one today. Of course store anything you like at Fulham Road - I am delighted at the place being made useful. I think studio 15, at the end of the corridor is emptied and most handy - there is a door opening

expired - but I am sorry you won't easily find anything else as nice and as easy.

You and Emily are quite right to defer coming over - it is frightfully tricky

Don’t imagine I have emigrated for good -

In haste
Yours ever
John S. Sargent

I fear I have forgotten the wages of the caretakers, I am sending them a cheque. I hope they won’t be tiresome.
