THE
COPLEY-PLAZA
BOSTON

I am afraid I have been rather bad at writing lately, and owe you more than one letter.

Today yours of the 17th came, and amused me with your compunctions about selling that Giudecca which I don’t remember from Adam—— I hope you got some time up

a good [[start?]], and hundreds of my water colors & Tissot's New Testament——

I am glad to have got your author for the thameim, the [[?]] & the John. No photographs have come of the Ruiguson, or any mention of the prices of them - so I haven't been able to persuade any body——

Did Walter Gay turn up? You haven't said.

à bientôt
Yrs ever
