About the Art Director
Gary Bellamy, artist and designer, is the Creative Director and founder of BullyDesign. His design work can be found on the campus of Howard University were he helped design the banners, calendars, publications and signage as a young student designer. Gary's work, the Legacy Mural, proudly adorns the Reginald F. Lewis Museum in Baltimore's Inner Harbor. Gary also founded Collage magazine, a publication to serve the art community by promoting ethnic art.

Gary Bellamy's art is held in the collections of Paul R. Jones, Fred Irby III, Donald Byrd, and many others. His work received critical acclaim during its exhibition at the Parish Gallery.

Acknowledgments
I applaud the artists whose works have inspired and moved me to design this series of catalogs commemorating Parish Gallery's 15 years of service. It is an honor and a privilege to design for these artists. I am also appreciative of the time and effort Dr. Floyd Coleman bestowed upon me as he encouraged me academically and challenged me creatively. This, I hope, will serve as just one of the many fruits of his labor and intellect. One question: Dr. Coleman, "How did I do?"

I would also like to thank my wife, Sandy Bellamy who makes it possible for me pursue my dreams by supporting our realities. And to my daughter, Lauren Lee Bellamy, I hope this series of catalogs help show you the way to your own destiny!

Special thanks to Norm Parish who has been a mentor and a friend. It is a honor to know you and to have exhibited in Parish Gallery and to have the opportunity of participating in the design of these series of catalogs.
