MARCH 1946 Sunday 10 Fair chilly Out for paper had tea party in P.M. had large crowd and good party Revs Ellison [[strikethrough]] poured [[strikethrough]] poured. Monday 11 P Cloudy Chilly Down to H.F. and worked a while Mir had a little meeting at home in eve Tuesday 12 Fair mild Down town in AM worked a little for H.F. Sent package to Renée in Paris. Wednesday 13 Fine mild Down to H.F. and to shop Telegram come that mother had passed away Mir had meeting in eve I phoned to Helen J MARCH 1946 Thursday 14 Cloudy Mild Home all day. Mir had a meeting at home in PM. and then went to Harlem with Bessie Hill to a lecture in eve Helen J. came by around 6 P.M. Friday 15 Rainy mild Home all A.M. Left for Washing 2.30 PM got in wash. 7 P.M. William and Jim had gone home. I stay in wash left next AM for wade[[?]] watr [[?]] Smith also Saturday 16 Fair mild got to wile [[?]]. hatn [[?]] at 9.30 Jack meet us at station all the children were at home as well as nairy Kin [[?]] folks left wile watn che [[?]] with Memoranda W.J & S. shopped 9 PM for an evening in wash with Jim an Smith took train for N.Y. at 210 am [[strikethrough]] Mir went to meet some friends and went with them to Jacksons [[/strikethrough]]
